Instrument Definition
Unlike most other programs that require special .dll files for every instrument used, you can create your own instrument configuration files by defining the commands to send to the instrument for each function needed by the program, as shown above. There is a test facility to allow interactive testing of the various functions. This feature allows anyone with a general knowledge of GPIB instrument commands to create instrument configuration files for any appropriate instruments.
